Double D Wire Frame Spectacles With One Eye Power Glass Grey Tint Rare 1920s. For sale Double D Wire Frame Spectacles With One Eye Power Glass Grey Tint Rare 1920s. This is a double D type tinted sunglasses/spectacles possibly to dating around the 1920s or earlier. Width of the frame is 100mm; each D glass is 34mmx38mm; nose bridge is 25mm. What is interesting to note is that only one of the glass (left hand glass) is viewable.

The right hand glass is frosted having zero visibility. Perhaps this spectacle was meant for a one eyed person although we are not entirely sure.

The left side glass is a prescription glass for long distance viewing, again not sure of what power it is. The wire frames two sides have additional tinted glasses see pictures for more help. Great addition for the collector.
